The long awaited release of Y!TunnelPro V2.5 Build 500 is just around the corner. However we would like to receive feedback from users concerning changes to preferences and updates to how some filter operatings now function. This version addresses a significant number of critical bugs and provides additional enhancements and updates to existing features.

An Update For Our Members On Y!TunnelPro Build 500!!

After several unexpected delays and much anticipation, we are "thisclose" to releasing the first in our series of new builds! Chet Simpson, the originator and systems architect of Y!TunnelPro, has been working nonstop rebuilding our entire program and has outdone himself this time!! Our testers have worked long and hard putting our betas through their paces and as soon as we make a few tweaks here and there, you'll be able to judge for yourselves. Our members are going to see many changes in both our features (old and new) and functionality.

Of course these new builds will be both Vista and YMsgr 9.0 compatible, as well as the introduction of our new boot protection feature (an original creation by Chet which will be debuted in one of the releases). We can't wait to hear your feedback!!! Get ready members, this extremely impressive Build 500 is about to be unleashed and Y!TunnelPro will continue its supreme reign as the perfect Messenger companion program!

On Saturday May 31st the data center hosting our servers suffered a catastrophic power failure when a high voltage power conduit exploded. Due to the resulting fire and safety concerns the backup generators were not started. Thankfully nobody was hurt but the result was complete power loss for over 9,000 servers.

To ensure that all license certificates remain valid and to prevent any possible conflicts we brought up the auto update and activation services first. Although we continue to experience intermittent delays and outages with these services we are working to ensure they are back to 100% within the next couple of hours.

As of June 3rd the primary server responsible for our main website, forum, knowledge base, and bug tracker has been brought back online. All databases have been audited and compared with recent backups. At present the only service which is not fully functional is email but we expect to have those issues resolved shortly. We expect to have intermittent outages as our host works to repair their facility and are working to secure a server at a different provider to ensure service redundancy.
